Armenian Genocide Awareness Month
April 1, 2003 - The Armenian Genocide, one of the most violent and tragic episodes in the
3,000 year-old history of the Armenian people,
remains a dark cloud over all Armenians as its denial continues 88 years after the fact.
History shows, time and again, that no one is immune to unethical and inhumane treatment.
That is why awareness and recognition of all crimes against humanity is an important step for all human beings to take.
Through education and dialogue, we can ensure similar atrocities are not carried-out in the future.
The entire month of April is dedicated to informing our community members of the Armenian Genocide. We hope
that everyone will join us in showing solidarity against such heinous crimes at the
Armenian Genocide Recognition
March in Little Armenia on April 24th.
