Greek Inscriptions at Armavir (200 BC)

Several Greek inscriptions from around the year 200 BC found at the fortress of Armavir near Yerevan confirm that Greek culture had taken hold in Armenia. The Greek language inscriptions refer to early Armenian kings, Armenian battles, and Greek literary works.
